Modern renovation revitalises the interiors of this Berkshire country home

This generously proportioned property was a little tired, but the homeowners had big plans to transform their country home.

Absolute Architecture worked with the owners over four phases of renovations and crafted designs and architecture plans to help them realise their goals.  These four phases saw the transformation of the interiors, conversion of the loft space, as well as the build of a beautiful oak framed family room and gym with a spiral wine cellar.

Location: Undisclosed village in Berkshire

Materials: We installed a beautiful vintage oak parquet floor throughout the house to unify the rooms. Bathrooms were transformed with Jura grey limestone.

Clever aspects: Absolute Architecture were able to create a seamless and unifying colour palette that brought all elements of the project together.

We love: Our absolute favourite elements of the home are the richness of the parquet flooring and sheer all round beauty of a Hartwood oak frame. The copper bath is pretty special too!
